Trent College is an excellent independent day and boarding school providing a warm and welcoming home from home environment for pupils of all backgrounds and aspirations. Situated within a magnificent 45 acre campus on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, Trent College is easily accessed from Junction 25 of the M1.

Boarding at Trent College provides the balance students need to thrive. With 80% of our weekly and flexi boarders living within a 45 minute drive of the school, pupils benefit from a unique model of encouragement and flexibility aimed at supporting busy families in an ever changing world.
FULFILLING POTENTIAL
Evening Prep, under the supervision of Trent teachers, enables academic progress to remain at the top of every pupil’s agenda. A healthy balance between study and social activities is encouraged, with boarders benefiting from extended access to onsite facilities and learning resources. The Devonshire Library, Art Studio and Wortley Sixth Form Centre are available throughout the week, along with opportunities to use our extensive leisure facilities such as the pool, gym and grounds.
BEYOND THE SCHOOL TIMETABLE
Our busy and varied Boarders’ Activity Programme encourages quality time within the boarding families and offers fun evening activities, such as baking and swimming. Trips to local attractions and social events for the whole boarding community ensure every weekend is memorable.

At Trent College and The Elms we continue to welcome admissions throughout the year. Whilst visiting our campus is restricted, our range of virtual content allows you to experience the environment at our schools.
