We determine success against each individual’s ambitions and goals. Although we have a traditional attitude towards academic success, we have a modern outlook in making sure the right qualification pathway is accessible to every student.

Broad course choice

With over 20 A Level subjects to choose from, you can craft your own learning journey around your unique aspirations. We encourage all students to choose subjects relevant to their interests as well as their career ambitions. Most Trent students study three A Levels, however we also offer BTEC Sport and BTEC Business.

Beyond the classroom

A range of enrichment activities enhance our Sixth Form provision. We encourage every student to find enjoyment in activities beyond the classroom. Our enrichment programme promotes traits and skills that are essential to the modern world and demonstrates our commitment to positive physical and emotional health.

 

 

Preparing for the future

Life long
skills

Through our PSHE programme students gain the life skills they need to become well-adjusted, self-sufficient adults. From goal setting and managing wellbeing, to budget planning, CV writing, and domestic skills.

Research based projects

The EPQ is a stand-alone qualification equivalent to an AS qualification. EPQ is offered as an option with the intention of strengthening the programme of study by developing a wider range of skills, through allowing students to explore a topic beyond their syllabus which they are passionate about.
