STEM Pathways

We believe education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is crucial for all children, from Early Years primary school to Sixth Form. To equip them with new knowledge and skills as well as the mindset required to thrive in a rapidly evolving world, we deliver a range of STEM focussed events.

The Elms STEM Hub led by our Head of DT, Miss Patel, consists of a network of STEM Leaders from local primary schools that meet termly to raise the profile of STEM subjects for primary aged pupils. Combining CPD for teachers, interactive workshops for children and whole-school competitions, the Hub ignites pupils’ interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and encourages children to pursue studies and careers in STEM.
