Extensive network

Many of our families utilise the school bus network which serves the urban areas of Derby and Nottingham and the surrounding areas of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

Children from Year 3 can access the full service, with an infant express option available to younger children direct from Nottingham. Our bus service adapts and grows with demand where possible, so please get in touch to discuss your family’s requirements.

Designed for busy families

Find your nearest stop, complete with costs and timings using our online booking service. School bus routes call at several railway stations and tram stops to offer convenient connections. Furthermore, the routes serving Trent College pupils run 6 days a week in order to facilitate travel to Saturday lessons.

Our buses operate in partnership with Skills of Nottingham to provide a high level of service and reliability. The daily drivers provide a friendly welcome for pupils, being fully-qualified and DBS checked, parents can rest assured that their children will have safe and enjoyable journeys. Fully fitted with seat belts and maintained to a high standard of operational efficiency ensures safety is paramount.

The latest planned addition to the network is a fast route which will start its journey in the south Derbyshire village of Ticknall before heading into Long Eaton via Melbourne, Kings Newton, Isley Walton, Castle Donington and Hemington.
