The Trent College Parents’ Association is a voluntary group of parents who work together for the benefit of the Trent College community.
They hold a number of social events and initiatives through out the year to raise funds that support the school and its charities. These are currently Canaan Trust and Kenya School Foundation.
They also support pupils by providing a speech day prize and support a creative writing competition and enjoy liaising with teachers to support initiatives for different departments and clubs within school.
Nearly new shop
The TPA operate a ‘Nearly New’ shop for parents to purchase good quality school uniform or PE kit at reduced cost, which also helps to raise funds that go back into supporting school initiatives. Last year, the Nearly New Shop raised over £5,000 for school projects including new school benches and additional amplifiers for the music department.
The Nearly New shop runs a small shop on campus (near to the art department). The TPA can also take uniform orders via trentnns@gmail.com and have a ‘drop box’ facility for donations and order collections outside of the shop opening times.

Join THE TPA
The Trent Parents Association meet twice a term and are organised around different roles – some parents are focused on social events and fundraising, others liaise with school, some may contribute directly to the TPA for example by being the treasurer and some make a difference with the students.
The TPA are very keen to welcome all parents, especially those new to Trent, and the TPA is one route to quickly get to know your new school community.
The TPA would be very happy to hear from you by email – trentparents@gmail.com
