Drama gives pupils the freedom to express themselves and explore new techniques in a safe, open environment. For some pupils, Drama may inspire a future career in the industry, whilst for others the fun of participating becomes a life-long hobby.
We keep innovation and challenge at the heart of Drama. Industry experienced staff ensure that our curriculum remains relevant to a fast-paced industry and their connections in the field offer talented pupils a head start with their career ambitions.
LAMDA helps pupils take their talent further. Parents who invest in LAMDA lessons will see their child develop confidence and stage presence with additional support in public speaking and a range of performance areas. Reaching LAMDA Grades 6-8 can also lead to valuable UCAS points.
RECOGNISING EXCELLENCE THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS
A Drama Scholarship at Trent College is awarded to those we deem highly able and talented in the performing arts. Scholars must lead by example, and be an active, visible part of the Drama community at school by participating in a range of productions through performance, design or as a technician or stage manager.
