LAMDA

LAMDA helps pupils take their talent further. Parents who invest in LAMDA lessons will see their child develop confidence and stage presence with additional support in public speaking and a range of performance areas. Reaching LAMDA Grades 6-8 can also lead to valuable UCAS points.

RECOGNISING EXCELLENCE THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS

A Drama Scholarship at Trent College is awarded to those we deem highly able and talented in the performing arts. Scholars must lead by example, and be an active, visible part of the Drama community at school by participating in a range of productions through performance, design or as a technician or stage manager.

Our senior drama students have exclusive opportunities to meet casting directors, actors and higher academic institutions, such as the New York Film Academy. A variety of industry professionals visit us to share their expertise with the next generation.

In-House Workshops

We deliver regular in-house workshops for senior drama pupils that explore specialist areas in greater depth, from acting for television to lighting the stage. These sessions ensure we cater to all interests and develop each pupil’s unique skill set.

rEAL wORLD eXPERIENCE

We want every pupil to experience the power of live performance for themselves. Regular theatre trips can breathe new life into studied texts, inspire fresh ideas and provide deeper understanding of Drama in the real world.
