Development beyond the classroom is a fundamental part of the first-class education we provide. Featuring 24 school clubs from Reception to Year 6, our diverse extra-curricular provision challenges and inspires pupils to go further.

At the start of term, each year group at The Elms was established as its own social bubble. Our adapted after-school activity programme maintains these bubbles and takes extra measures to prioritise the safety of pupils and staff.

Clubs and activities are part of life at The Elms and take part within our 45 acre campus, as a seamless transition from the school day, which is a huge benefit to busy families.

Most importantly, every pupil benefits from access to a full programme of varied activities that caters to a broad range of interests.

“Firstly, continuing our excellent extra-curricular after school programme is a top priority. It is an essential part of the all-round education we provide, which develops the whole child,” Mrs Lampon, Assistant Head Juniors, said.

“Adapting the programme has required a lot of hard work within our school community but it was important for us to go the extra mile because the value it brings to our pupils is priceless!
