Development beyond the classroom is a fundamental part of the first-class education we provide. Featuring 24 school clubs from Reception to Year 6, our diverse extra-curricular provision challenges and inspires pupils to go further. The fantastic uptake of the programme is testament to how much pupils enjoy the varied activities on offer, currently 97% of Key Stage 2 pupils at The Elms are currently attending at least one after-school club (Michaelmas Term 2021).

Clubs and activities are part of life at The Elms and take part within our 45 acre campus, as a seamless transition from the school day, which is a huge benefit to busy families.

Most importantly, every pupil benefits from access to a full programme of varied activities that caters to a broad range of interests.

“Clubs offer children a much-needed opportunity to develop their social skills after 18 months of disrupted learning and interaction with others.  The fact we get to use the amazing grounds and take advantage of huge range of skills offered by our wonderful teaching staff make clubs at The Elms exciting, rewarding and enjoyable for all.”  Mr Young, Assistant Leader Pastoral Juniors, said.
