Mrs Wallace is the Assistant Head EYFS and a Class teacher at The Elms, who nurtures children during their transition into school life whilst building strong educational foundations.
Experienced teacher
Mrs Wallace is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of each child in her class. Having previously been an Assistant Head / EYFS Lead, Mrs Wallace is highly experienced in knowing how to develop lesson plans that enable every pupil to go further in their learning. With a degree in Childhood Development prior to obtaining a PGCE, Mrs Wallace is an expert in understanding child behaviours.
Before joining The Elms, Mrs Wallace taught in a school in London for 6 years. Since moving to the East Midlands, Mrs Wallace has enjoyed being outside in the countryside by taking her French Bulldog on long walks and learning to play golf.
Inspiring learning journeys
Mrs Wallace enjoys the environment created at The Elms that offers a wonderful opportunity for children to take ownership of their own learning journeys. Mrs Wallace takes great delight and pride in creating unique learning hooks that capture the children’s imagination and start a variety of experiences inside and outside of the classroom.
