Joined Trent College: 2018
A commitment to pupil development, wellbeing and support is at the forefront of a Trent College education. As Deputy Head (Pastoral), Mr Hallows oversees pupil care and development across the school and works closely with Heads of Tier, House Teams and the Welfare Team to ensure that every pupil receives the encouragement, challenge and rewards that they need in order to flourish.
POSTIVE EDUCATION
Mr Hallows has a leading role in the school’s thriving boarding community. With over 20 years of working in HMC boarding schools and first-hand experience as a Housemaster, he knows how to enable pupils to get the most out of their boarding experience and to achieve the best that they can.
His extensive experience of school inspection means that Mr Hallows knows exactly what is needed to deliver a first-class education. In addition to the rewarding opportunity to work in support of our talented pupils, he particularly enjoys working with an exceptionally skilled, experienced and a committed pastoral team who work together to promote pupil wellbeing.
SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Mr Hallows enjoys boarders’ trips, concerts, plays, talks and dinners which all provide rich opportunities to see the pupils at their best in the pastoral, academic and co-curricular dimensions of school life.
Mr Hallows lives on site with his family and is a presence in the school community throughout the term time.
